As DPUs become more common in accelerating data-centric computing, it could evolve so fast that it needs its own special-purpose accelerator someday. In this episode, Dr. Mark Silberstein from Technion analyzes the development prospects of DPU technology and the growing market.
Dr. Silberstein is an Associate Professor at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department in the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology. He is the head of the Accelerated Computer Systems Lab (https://acsl.group) and a recipient of the ACM EuroSys Jochen Liedke Young Research Award 2020.
