China’s leading AI company iFLYTEK’s intelligent vehicle system products adopted in BYD’s new energy passenger cars

iFLYTEK(科大讯飞), China’s leading listed AI company, said it made new progress with its intelligent vehicle system product, which BYD has adopted in all its new energy passenger cars. The two parties are engaged in further cooperation. 

iFLYTEK’s representative updated the company’s performance in a recent interview with institutional investors. 

iFLYTEK has a market share of more than 50% new energy vehicles with intelligent voice interaction functions, according to the sales data officially released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers.

iFLYTEK’s performance report shows that its smart car system is installed in more than 1200 car models, with more than 39 million pre-installed vehicles by the end of 2021.

Founded in 1999 and listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2008, iFLYTEK has well established itself in voice recognition and machine learning. It has covered the automotive business for a long time. It released products and solutions for automobile manufacturers with its Feiyu system. Earlier this year, it signed up with Wuxi Economic Development Zone in eastern China’s Jiangsu Province and established there its “iFLYTEK Automotive Intelligent Driving Technology Headquarter”.
