While demands for semiconductors keep increasing, it turns out the industry is short of people to produce chips. As a professor of Electrical and Microelectronic Engineering at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), Dr. Santosh Kurinec reckons that raising visibility of ICT industry is a crucial way to attract more talents, and semiconductor education should start from K-12.
Dr. Kurinec is a Fellow of IEEE and a Member of the New York Academy of Sciences. She has over 120 publications in research journals and conference proceedings.
